Job Overview:
As a Project Planner, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of complex infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers to develop comprehensive project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure the timely completion of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Scheduling:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for roads and bridges construction projects.
Collaborate with project teams to identify key milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.
Resource Allocation:
Work with project managers to allocate resources efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization of manpower and equipment.
Anticipate and address potential scheduling conflicts to maintain project timelines.
Risk Assessment:
Conduct risk assessments related to project schedules and propose mitigation strategies.
Monitor and communicate potential schedule impacts due to unforeseen circumstances.
Progress Monitoring:
Implement robust monitoring systems to track project progress against established schedules.
Provide regular updates to project teams and management on schedule performance.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Civil Engineer
- with strong experience in management of construction contracts.
- Proficient in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
